Bree Baxter

 Bree Baxter is an experienced registered counsellor specialising in relationship counselling, with experience across both community and private settings. She now supports couples through her private practice, Cultivation Counselling, which she established in 2020. 

Bree works with couples experiencing disconnection, repetitive conflict, and the strain of trying to balance modern family life, work, mental load, and individual goals, often all at once. She also supports couples who want to strengthen their relationship before small issues become bigger ones.

Through years of working with couples, Bree has developed a strong understanding of the pressures facing relationships today and a particular interest in prenatal relationship support. Her clinical experience has shown that many of the struggles couples seek help for later often begin during the transition to parenthood, when the emotional, relational, and identity changes of becoming parents can quietly reshape the partnership.

“We’re raising children in a world that looks very different to previous generations,” Bree says. “We have information at our fingertips, but with it comes comparison, pressure, and a constant sense of more – more to do, more to be, more to manage. The real challenge is building awareness of how those pressures impact our intimate relationships and having tools that help us stay connected through it all.”

Bree’s work focuses on helping couples build insight, self-awareness, and practical relationship skills they can carry forward so they are not simply getting through a "difficult patch", but creating a stronger foundation for the years ahead.
